“Think Snow” fellow snowmobilers. The first accumulation of snow came down this week, with more to come soon – which will actually stay around for more than two days. The remaining trail marking to be completed as of last Thursday Dec 2^nd, was still approximately 5 miles, with Saturday Dec 4^th as the scheduled completion date. Well, we got it ALL DONE. A huge thanks to those who have helped mark this year – including a few new folks hearing the call. We had a great time doing it last Saturday, with a good turn-out, good lunch, and good weather. Just in time too – a big cold snap starts next week and is supposed to last through Christmas week.

Also, don’t forget the Club Christmas Party this Sunday at Perk’s Supper Club in Dale – 6pm drinks / 7pm dinner. All are welcome, and RSVP is not necessary – although if you haven’t been a regular attendee at the Party in the past few years, you may want to call Jessie ( ) so she can decide whether or not to ask Perk’s to put on another waitress for us. You will be ordering off the menu, so a full variety dinner options are available. Always a good time… please come join us.

Grass Drag Success: Thanks to all those who helped with the Grass Drags! A ton of work goes into making this happen, and without volunteers like you (and Russell’s gadgets – gotta love the hydraulic rope spools), it wouldn’t be possible. The fundraiser was a success, and we were blessed with the best weather possible in November – sunny and near 60 degrees. The club earned nearly $3200 net on the day.

Several changes were suggested for next year’s races during the last meeting, such as more advertising in general, more advertising of vintage sled show locally, dividing the sleds into groups, having the spectators vote, etc. If you have any suggestions, please bring them up at the next meeting. Thanks again for your participation!

Club Election Results: Last month’s meeting included our annual Club Office elections. Just a few changes again for this year. President, Vice, Treasurer, Trail Chair, Membership Chair, County Alliance Reps, all remain the same and are listed below. This year’s changes in Office include… Secretary: Dave Cyr; Board of Directors: Paul Buman, Chad Spaulding, Mike Peters. Thank you to all those serving in elected positions, outgoing, incoming, and re-elected, for their considerable time and efforts.
