NOVEMBER ’04 NEWSLETTER

OK, so many of you reading this haven’t seen a Green Knights newsletter in quite a while – but this letter is going out to past members, as well as current members. Why, you might ask? Because many of you may not be aware of the changes going on in Greenville and surrounding areas in regards to our area trails. Our trail system in Greenville is at great risk right now, and after several bad snow seasons, club membership is also way down -- so it’s been hard to get the word out.

Bottom line is, if you want to keep the trail system in the Greenville area, we need your help! Please read the attached letter for more details (also available on the website if you want to email the link to a snowmobiling friend)… Thanks.

Don’t forget, our Annual Grass Drags is this coming weekend – Sat, Nov. 6^th. The day will include: kid’s Kitty Cat Races, Ugliest Sled Contest, a Vintage Sled Show, brats, burgers, $1 beers, pizza, heated beer tent (if necessary) and more. Volunteers still NEEDED! Then, the next week is trail marking -- help still needed as well). Sunday Dec. 12^th is our club Christmas Party at Perk’s Supper Club in Dale, and the whole place is reserved for us -- so please come, it’s always a good time. Other Stuff: The winner of last month’s “sign-in” prize (Greenville Station dinner gift certificate) was John Baumgart … congrats! Remember, members must be in attendance at the meeting to win the sign-in, so be at the next meeting for your chance. Elections for Club Officers will be held at the November meeting as well.

Nov. 13 – Trail Marking. Meet at Recycle Center across from Town Hall. Bring ATV if you have one.

Nov. 14 – Monthly meeting @ 7: 30 p.m. Election of officers.

Dec. 12 – Club Christmas party
